AccessReel Reviews - Like Crazy

A love story is both a physical and emotional tale, one that can be deeply personal and heartbreaking for an audience to experience. Director Drake Doremus’ film Like Crazy beautifully illustrates how your first real love is as thrilling and blissful as it is devastating. When a British college student (Felicity Jones) falls for her American classmate (Anton Yelchin) they embark on a passionate and life-changing journey only to be separated when she violates the terms of her visa.

Welcome to Fright Night - For Real?

Based on the 1985 film of the same name, Dreamworks and Touchstone Pictures brings us the 2011 remake of FRIGHT NIGHT. Boasting an impressive cast of actors, this remake has long been dreaded by most fans of the original film (those of us that are old enough to remember when it came out at the movies) and highly anticipated by fans of the genre.

Odd Thomas - More Casting news?

The internet is abuzz with casting rumours for the upcoming adaptation of Dean Koontzs' Odd Thomas from director Stephen Sommers (The Mummy).

Circling the role of Odd Thomas' soul mate Stormy LLewellyn are the likes of: Emma Roberts, Lily Collins, Kat Dennings, Portia Doubleday and the latest casting rumour has it that Californication star Addison Timlin is close to signing on.

Out of the bunch, I would think Addison Timlin to be the best fit to play opposite Anton Yelchin (Star Trek) as Odd Thomas.

Odd Thomas Update - First Casting News

Things are moving fast on the adaptation of Dean Koontz' Odd Thomas. Bringing this film to the big screen is Stephen Sommers. Sommers, who recently turned down the GI Joe sequel in favour of Odd Thomas, is due to start principal photography sometime this year for a mid-2012 release.

Having seen the adaptations of Koontz's novels being made with varying success, it seems that, this time, the filmmakers have been careful with the material and with Sommers also writing the screenplay, we can only hope that it's a coherent and successful film.
