Beck Cole is the director of HERE I AM currently screening in Australian cinemas. This tough and hopeful story about an Aboriginal woman, Karen, who gets out of prison and has to live in a half way house in Port Adelaide was a five year labour of love for the filmmaker. She spoke about that process in a telephone interview.
