Sypnosis

"The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey" follows title character Bilbo Baggins, who is swept into an epic quest to reclaim the lost Dwarf Kingdom of Erebor, which was long ago conquered by the dragon Smaug. Approached out of the blue by the wizard Gandalf the Grey, Bilbo finds himself joining a company of thirteen dwarves led by the legendary warrior, Thorin Oakensheild. Their journey will take them into the Wild; through treacherous lands swarming with Goblins and Orcs, deadly Wargs and Giant Spiders, Shapeshifters and Sorcerers.

It's still another whole year before we get to see this movie but I bet Lord of the Rings fans are rejoicing in seeing the first trailer to 'The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey.

“Hanna”, starring Eric Bana, Cate Blanchett and Saoirse Ronan as the title character, is a film about a sixteen year old girl, hidden away in the forest by her father, who has been training her to be the perfect assassin her whole life, not so that she will kill for money but to prepare her for the life she will have once she chooses to be a part of society and face the ruthless intelligence agent who is trying to hunt them down.

Joe Wright Directs Thriller

Director Joe Wright is known for his films THE SOLOIST (2009), PRIDE AND PREJUDICE (2007) and ATONEMENT (2005). So a certain type of serious drama is what audiences have come to expect from the British director. However, his new film HANNA is a change of pace. Australians Eric bana and Cate Blanchett star. The title role of Hanna is played by Saoirse Ronan the young actor who wowed audiences in ATONEMENT. HANNA is currently screening at festivals. It's general release will be in September 2011. Check out the trailer. Be intrigued.
