It also starred Bill Pullman, Ann-Margret and Robert Duvall.

There's been a rather massive viral campaign over the last few days for The Dark Knight Rises going global to get fans to find out clues, but Warner Bros was nice enough to also give us a brand new trailer.

Christian Bale joins Scott Cooper's next film

Christian Bale currently has a number of projects in pre-production that he is attached to that will follow up the third instalment in the Chris Nolan Batman franchise due for release in just a few months. Following ‘The Dark Knight Rises’, we’ll see Bale in two films for 2013 including ‘Lawless’ and ‘Knight of Cups’ with a new film now added to his slate being ‘Out of the Furnace’ scheduled for release in 2014.

Warner Bros. Pictures' and Legendary Pictures' "The Dark Knight Rises" is the epic conclusion to filmmaker Christopher Nolan's Batman trilogy, Leading an all-star international cast, Oscar(R) winner Christian Bale ("The Fighter") again plays the dual role of Bruce Wayne/Batman. The film also stars Anne Hathaway, as Selina Kyle; Tom Hardy, as Bane; Oscar(R) winner Marion Cotillard ("La Vie en Rose"), as Miranda Tate; and Joseph Gordon-Levitt, as John Blake.


The Dark Knight Rises - First Image of Bane

The first image of Tom Hardy as Bane has been leaked to the interwebs. The picture below is courtesy of a viral site that Warner Brothers had set up for the new Batman movie - The Dark Night Rises. With filming starting this week, the online campaign seems to be in full swing with this image leaking so early in the production.

Batman 3 begins filming

Fans of the current Batman films have reason to be excited with the recent announcement that the next film in the franchise has begun principal photography. This news comes via press release, which also includes the statement that location shooting will take place across three different continents. The next film marks the end of the current story arc for the Batman films, by all accounts it seems that Christopher Nolan will not return to direct any further films however what this means for the franchise itself remains to be seen.

The Dark Knight Rises - Catwoman and Tom Hardy Officially Cast

Warner Brothers have today announced who will play Selina Kyle aka Catwoman. For months now the net has been speculating on who it could/should be and today the wait is over. The news from Warners today has also dubunked the rumours that Tom Hardy would be playing Dr. Hugo Strange. Tom Hardy is in the film and if you are a fan of the comic then you will be familiar with his character.
