If you're after some award winning masterpiece or even a comedy with depth then don't read any more as Joe Dirt is neither of these. But then again it never tried to be, and therein lies its crass beauty.
The film is the comedic story of Joe Dirt (played by David Spade) who is on a journey of epic proportions to find his parents after being abandoned at the Grand Canyon as a child.
