Australian-born James McTeigue (V FOR VENDETTA) has directed a new film based on the writings of American author Edgar Allan Poe and titled after his most famous work THE RAVEN. It’s a fictionalised account of the last days of Poe's life, in which the writer is in pursuit of a serial killer whose murders mirror those in Poe’s stories.

The first official picture of the James McTeigue’s “The Raven” has been released. Currently in production The Raven follows Edgar Allan Poe who is searching for a serial killer whilst discovering that the murder methods seem to have been taken straight out of the pages of his own short stories. The film is still awaiting a release date but that doesn’t make me any less excited about it.
