Set in Middle America, a group of teens receive an online invitation for sex, though they soon encounter fundamentalists with a much more sinister agenda.

Kevin Smith is a man who needs little introduction among film enthusiasts, he entered the film scene via his independently made film ‘Clerks’ in 1994 which was picked up on the festival circuit for wider distribution.

A teaser trailer has just been delivered unto us from Kevin Smith for his new movie RED STATE. The film is based loosley on the Westboro Baptist Church and it's leader Fred Phelps.

I looks like we are in for a tense and wild ride and from the looks of this trailer, the film is travelling the same road as THE DEVILS REJECTS.

The film premieres at the Sundance Film Festival on the 23rd of January and according to this trailer, will be out sometime in March.

I for one can't wait to see what Mr Smith can do with the red stuff.

Red State - New Posters and Kevin Smith - Philanthropist? *Update*

Kevin Smith's new film RED STATE is in the can and in the process of post-production for release sometime in 2011. In the meantime, to whet the appetites of fans everywhere, Smith has released character posters for the film and is selling them online to aid charity.

Red-State is still shopping around for a Distributor, and is due to hit a few film festivals over the next few months!

Paramount Pictures gives us the trailer for the upcoming film THE FIGHTER starring Mark Wahlberg and Christian Bale. The film centers around the true story of professional boxer "Irish" Micky Ward (Mark Wahlberg) and his older brother Dickie Eklund (Christian Bale). Amy Adams is also on board as a love interested for Wahlberg's character. 

Theres no official synopsis released as yet, but the trailer looks fantastic and I've always been a sucker for a true story. There is no release dates set as yet.

It's great to see James Gandolfini back on the big screen, we haven't seen him since early last year in the film "In the Loop". Apparition gives us the trailer to Jame's latest flick also co-starring Kristen Stewart and Melissa Leo. The trailer looks fantastic and an even better story, in this one we see Kristen Stewart playing a stripper! So should be interesting..

Check out the Trailer below, there is no Australian Release Date as yet, but our American friends get to see it in a Limited Release on the 5th November.

Fox Searchlight brings us an amazing new trailer today CONVICTION the true story of Betty Anne Waters (Hilary Swank) battle to free her Brother Kenny (Sam Rockwell) from Prison when he was wrongly convicted of Murder in 1983.
