Nothing but Avatar in Cameron’s future?

Some interesting news regarding James Cameron has been spreading in the last week or so with the filmmaker commenting that as far as making films in the future, he’s entirely focused on the Avatar universe and nothing else.

Of course Avatar needs little introduction, not to be confused with the Nickelodian TV series of the same name the Avatar film was released in December 2009 where it went on to become a worldwide theatrical phenomenon grossing approximately $2.7 billion in its cinematic run and bringing mainstream 3D film releases back to the industry in a huge way.

James Cameron's Avatar Returns to Theatres This Year

Fox has offically announced that AVATAR will be returning to Cinemas Worldwide this August. James Cameron has completed around 8 minutes of new footage that has been added for the re-release! This is Exclusive to 3D Digital and IMAX only. I for one will be looking forward to seeing it in all its glory again at the end of August plus an extra 8minutes goes down well with me.
