Hugo is set in the 1930’s and tells the story of a resourceful boy who lives in a train station and teams up with a spirited young girl to solve a mystery. When Hugo encounters a broken machine, and the reserved man who runs the toy shop, he is caught up in a magical, mysterious adventure that could put all of his secrets in jeopardy.

Oscar-winning director, Martin Scorsese, is releasing his first family film (also his first 3D film) this year. The project was entitled “Hugo Cabret” but is now is simply called HUGO.

In a press release that just hit my inbox, Paramount Pictures announced it will distribute Martin Scorsese's next film HUGO CABRET starring Asa Butterfield, Chloe Moretz, Sacha Baron Cohen, Ben Kingsley and Jude Law. HUGO CABRET will also be Scorsese's first 3D feature! Coming off films such as 'Shutter Island' this one sounds brilliant! Check out the press release below, no Australian Release date as yet.
