Behind the Scenes - The Raid

The anticipation is really starting to build for the March 22nd release of THE RAID and with the overwhelming response accessreel.com has been receiving for our March 14th Preview Screening it is very nice that Madman has presented us with a behind the scenes look including the primary cast heading to boot camp, fight choreography training with a bunch of interview footage mixed in.

American Pie Cast Heading to Australia

In a press release just passed to us by Universal Pictures the cast of American Pie: Reunion will be heading to Australia for the release of the film in March.

Following the wildly financially successful release of ‘Transformers 3: Dark of the Moon’ during 2011, speculation has never ended about the future of the Transformers film franchise. Would a new instalment happen? Would it involve Michael Bay? Will the cast return? There was speculation of Jason Statham coming onboard for a new Transformers project as it seemed increasingly unlikely that Shia would return.

Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter Trailer Debuts

20th Century Fox has just released the first trailer to the upcoming Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter based on the 2010 novel by Seth Grahame-Smith who also penned the screenplay. The film is directed by Timur Bekmambetov and is produced by Bekmambetov and Tim Burton.

Well the BAFTA's were held Sunday just gone and with the lead up to the Oscars it sometimes dictates who comes out a winner at the Feb 26th Event.

Phantom Menace takings keep climbing

The highest box office grossing instalment in the Star Wars franchise, ‘Episode 1: The Phantom Menace’ has just re-entered cinemas around the world with the first of the 3D re-releases for the saga.

The film had previously reached some staggering heights with a worldwide box office taking of over $920 million, all from a production budget of approximately $115 million, so despite its many criticisms from a financial perspective the film has done very well.

Project X - Makes Superbad look like a teaparty?

Project X is an upcoming comedy produced by The Hangover director Todd Phillips. The film stars Thomas Mann, Oliver Cooper and Jonathan Daniel Brown, and centers around a group of teenagers who document a house party which suddenly goes wrong.

Matthew Vaughn returns to class

Last year’s ‘X-Men: First Class’ was generally well received featuring fantastic performances from James McAvoy and Michael Fassbender. The film managed a difficult balance with a large number of characters and a script bloated with events and subplots crammed into 130 minutes, and while the film isn’t without its problems it is an achievement that the final result isn’t an incoherent mess.

Anticipation for this film is just getting crazy and for this little Marvel Fanboy I'm starting to burst at the seams it's always great how they pull together a sensational trailer and the second one for THE AVENGERS doesn't disappoint.
